Here's the "exit wound" where the lightning jumped out of the coax cable. The worst burns usually occur where lightning leaves one source and jumps to the next. |

I snagged these hailstones from the TV station parking lot. Most hailstones were about 1 inch thick, but a few 2 inchers banged up the cars. |
April 5, 2005: $$$ Hail Storm in Tulsa |
A multi-million dollar hail storm battered Tulsa on April 5, 2005. I didn't chase that day due to on-air TV duties. Big hailstones pounded the TV station at about 4:35pm. |
