| KOKI-TV, the Tulsa Fox affiliate assigned me to track Hurricane Rita so I could follow the storm from Texas to Oklahoma. But the hurricane turned more toward the TX/LA state line, blasting my hometown of Orange, Texas instead. The following reports cover my adventures and misadventures of traveling to and riding out the western eyewall of Hurricane Rita. Orange County storm tally: Mom's home: $80,000 damage.
