| Debated whether to photograph this... Flood water from the hurricane covered Navy Park cemetary several feet deep. Several caskets cracked open. A city official told me that corpses floated out clogging storm drains. |

| While the mainstream news focused on Galveston and larger cities, we were the only media present as US Secretary of State Michael Chertoff (blue shirt) toured Sabine Pass. The high school in the background was rebuilt after Hurricane Rita in 2005. |
